This is a slight variation on a Mint Julep. I used Honey simple syrup (equal parts honey and water) instead of confectioners sugar.
2oz Buffalo Trace Burbon
2 Mint Sprigs
Honey Simple Syrup
Lightly muddle 3-4 mint leaves in a metal cup that the drink will be served in then through the muddled mint away.
Add your honey syrup, Burbon, and ice to a mixing glass and stir.
Pour mixture over ice and clap a small bouquet of mint to garnish.
