A recipe from Ted Saucier's Cocktail book, Bottoms Up circa 1951.
2 oz. Gin
1 oz. orgeat
1/2 oz lemon juice
10 drops orange flower water
White from one egg
Orchid flower garnish is optional. Not called for in the original recipe.
Add all ingredients and dry shake for 60 seconds. Add ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a coupe. I dialed back the orgeat to 1/2 oz. to balance it. Great breakfast drink in the Ramos gin fizz style. Cheers!
