About this Cocktail

Experimenting with new ideas inspired by the Rack & Rye in the PDT Cocktail Book

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Irish Whiskey (Jameson)
  • .5 oz Licor 43
  • .25 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
  • .5 oz Demerara simple syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice; stir and strain into a lowball glass with a single large ice cube. Add large lemon peel as garnish (after expressing oils over the top first).

    A little sweet. I would cut the simple syrup to .25 oz or possibly remove entirely.

    Agree - we pulled out the simple syrup entirely and it was the perfect balance. Delicious!
