My recipe. B. Arrack from Java, sloe gin from the UK, pimento dram made from Jamaican allspice, ergo "island nation."
1 1/2 oz Van Oosten Batavia Arrack
3/4 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz Sloe Gin
1/4 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
1 oz Cola
Squeeze the lime wedge into the shaking tin and drop it in. Pour all ingredients but cola into the tin, then short shake over a few ice cubes. Pour cola into the tin, then strain (do not double strain) into a tall glass filled with ice. Lime wedge garnish, straw.
