At the Kelvingrove cafe in Glasgow's west end I asked for something off menu that made Amer Picon the star of the show. I was served this broad variation on a boulevardier and have made many of them since.
40ml Amer Picon
20ml Cocchi Americano
20ml rittenhouse rye
Add all ingredients to an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube of ice and express orange zest over the drink and garnish.
