3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 strawberries (muddled)
1/2 oz turbinado syrup
2 oz Four Roses bourbon
2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Top with ginger beer
Lemon wheel garnish
Fill a Collins glass with ice and reserve. Put the lemon juice and 1 strawberry into a cocktail shaker and muddle thoroughly. Add ice, simple syrup, bourbon, and bitters and shake vigorously. Using a fine-mesh strainer, strain into the reserved glass and top with ginger beer. Finely slice the remaining strawberry, then use to garnish the cocktail along with the lemon wheel.
