A Marconi Wireless riff I did as a drink of the day at Loyal Nine that included elements of the Widow's Kiss and other classics. Named after a Leonard Cohen song.
1 1/2 oz Calvados
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
3/8 oz Benedictine
1 barspoon (1/8 oz) Green Chartreuse
1 dash Chocolate Molé Bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail coupe. Garnish with a cherry. The 1/8:3/8 is easily done by utilizing a classic sized cocktail spoon (4 spoonfuls should equal about 1/2 oz) and pour a spoon of Chartreuse into a 1/2 oz jigger and top with the Benedictine. Of course, making 2 and doubling things works excellent as well.
