About this Cocktail

Created by Owen Westman of Bourbon & Branch, San Francisco, this drink achieves amazing balance and harmony between smoky Scotch and herbal liqueur.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz green Chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz Laphroaig Quarter Cask Scotch
  • 1/2 oz Luxardo maraschino
  • 1/4 oz yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Fees Brothers peach bitters
Preparation:

Shake and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Lemon peel garnish.

    I accidentally left off the lemon peel at first, and this drink really needs it to pull it all together. What a complex drink with great balance!
