About this Cocktail

This low calorie twist on the classic French 75 uses Benedictine, an herbal liquor developed by Alexandre Le Grand. Recipe courtesy of Joshua Brandenburg.

  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz Remy VSOP
  • ½ oz Benedictine
  • ½ oz cranberry juice
  • champagne
  • lemon twist (garnish)
  • brandied cherry (garnish)

Pour Benedictine, Cognac, lemon juice, simple syrup, and cranberry juice into a tin. Shake with one ice cube and strain into champagne flute. Top with champagne. Garnish with a brandied cherry on the bottom and a lemon twist on top.

    Ingredients have simple syrup listed twice - one with 1/4 and one with 1/2. Looks great other than that!
