About this Cocktail

As one patron described it "a sunny day sipper". The black pepper, nectarine and thyme form a wonderful partnership in this summer cocktail. Original cocktail by Mike Di Tota- Sweet Afton

  • 2oz Black Pepper- Infused Bourbon
  • 5 bar spoons Nectarine Purée
  • 3/4oz Honey Thyme Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • dash of Orange Blossom Water
  • Garnish- Nectarine Slice and Thyme Sprig

Shake all ingredients in a shaking can and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with Nectarine Slice and Thyme Sprig. Black Pepper Bourbon- add 3 Tbsp. of Whole Black Pepper to a bottle of Bourbon. Note: slightly crack the pepper before infusing Bourbon. Let infuse for 1 to 2 days.
Nectarine Purée- in a food processor add 5 Nectarines (quartered and pit removed) 3tsp. Light Brown Sugar and Juice from 1 Lemon. Blend until Purée has a thin consistency.
