About this Cocktail

Tequila + mole bitters version of a Nolita. Rafa García Febles, NYC, 2013.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz blanco tequila
  • 3/4 oz Campari
  • 1/2 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Bonal
  • 1 dash aromatic bitters
  • 1 dash mole or chocolate bitters
  • 1 twist lemon peel (expressed and discarded)
Preparation:

Stir, strain, coupe, twist.

    I also really like the similar but rye-based Bombardier: 1.5 oz rye | 3/4 oz Campari | 3/4 oz coffee liqueur | 1/2 oz sweet vermouth | 1 dash mole bitters | lemon twist

    Yes, this was amazing with Ancho Reyes subbed for the coffee liqueur. I used chocolate bitters.
