About this Cocktail

Fantastic after a fall trip to the orchard

Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz maple syrup
  • 1 oz squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 egg white
  • 1 small tart apple peeled and sliced
  • cranberry bitters - optional
Preparation:

muddle apple until most of juice is expressed
add bourbon, maple syrup and lemon
add egg white

shake with ice (dry shake doesn't seem necessary)
double strain into a chilled cocktail glass

garnish with thin apple wheel

(optional - dash of cranberry bitters)
