About this Cocktail

I bought these three ingredients while visiting Paris and staying in the Marais. Looking at the bottles, a mental light flickered on and told me they might taste good together. "Marais" means "swamp," so I'm pleased with how the Picon makes the drink look dark and swampy. Amer Picon isn't currently imported into the States. Two acceptable substitutes are CioCiaro and Torani Amer.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Calvados
  • 1/2 oz green Chartreuse
  • 1/2 oz Amer Picon
Preparation:

Stir with cracked ice and strain.

Made this with Amaro Montenegro. It's interesting. Herby. Bold.
