About this Cocktail

An afternoon cocktail at Nick's cove north of Point Reyes on highway one. Drink it with the sun going down over Tomales Bay after two dozen oysters. Recipe by Christian & Dean at Nick's Cove.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Bulliet Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostora
  • Garnish with brandied cherry
Preparation:

The Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout syrup is just a reduction of the beer in a saucepan. Stir, sip, enjoy by the fire.

    By how much do you reduce the stout? Half? Three quarters?

    That's a good question Gary, he didn't say, but it was squired out of a bottle, so it wasn't syrupy.
