About this Cocktail

Just a simple drink to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Karate Kid!

Ingredients:
  • 2 full sprigs of bonsai leaves
  • 1 oz cane sugar symple syrup 1:1
  • 1 oz lime juice - freshly squeezed
  • 2 oz bambu white rum (GET IT. BAMBU. BAMBOO)
  • 1 1/2 oz club soda
  • 1 live baby coy fish
Preparation:

Prepare bar for guest by wiping on some bar cleaner, and then wiping off bar cleaner.Place bar napkin in front of guest.Place bonsai leaves, cane syrup, lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Muddle the shit out of the bonsai leaves. Those things have a very subtle flavor so you want to really get as much as you can out of them.Add your bambu white rum, ice, and shake that bad boy. Make sure you do a Japanese hard shake. Strain into a pint glass (collins is too skinny for baby coy) - top with club soda.Drop in baby live coy fish (NOT EDIBLE, GARNISH ONLY).Serve to guests.
