Lee Morris' recipe with Gaz Regan's idea of incorporating a chartreuse rinse, only I didn't burn it.
1.5 oz VSOP cognac
1/2 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
1/2 oz Cocchi Americano
1 dash Regan's orange bitters
1 dash Fee Bros. Whiskey-Barrel-Aged Bitters
(Burnt) Chartreuse rinse
Flame a cocktail glass with Green Chartreuse sprayed from an atomizer. Or if you're like me, just rinse the glass as if you're making a Sazerac. Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, stir and strain into the glass.
