Moon Breeze was inspired by my favorite beer "blue moon." I added a French flair by fusing cognac extra smooth with a dash of Hpnotiq with a delicious base of pure lime syrup finish with an original Belgian style wheat ale Blue Moon beer.
2 oz cognac
1 1/2 oz Hpnotiq
1 oz freshly lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
1 dash angostura bitter
Splash blue moon beer
1-2 orange wedges
Plenty of ice
Using a Boston shaker add 1 orange wedge, dash of angostura bitter, 1/2 oz simple syrup and using the muddle mash all the ingredients together. Transfer the mash portion onto the wine glass.
Now add ice, cognac, Hpnotiq, lime juice and remaining simple syrup. Shake it as much as 7-10 times. Let those ingredients fuse together. Using the bar strainer transfer to the wine glass without ice.
Now splash the cocktail on the wine glass with blue moon beer.
