About this Cocktail

2008 Bacardi Legacy Winner, great take on the Mulata Daiquiri. The original drink does not include egg white, something I put in to help the flavours stay on palate. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did when I first ha a sip.

Ingredients:
  • 40ml Bacardi Superior
  • 20ml Bols White Cacao Liquor
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2tspoon Fine Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 10ml Galliano L'Authentico
  • Egg White
Preparation:

In a boston, muddle fennel seeds, sugar with fresh lime juice to dissolve the sugar. Add rum, white cacao, egg whites . Dry shake for 20seconds, add ice and shake again untill chilled. Before you strain your drink , add the Galliano L'Authentico to your cocktail glass, then double strain the mixture into your cocktail glass over top of the Galliano. As a garnish you can rim the drink in cacao powder , but I prefer the egg white foam with a sprinkle of cacao powder :) Lovely take on a Daiquiri guys.
