I made this drink during a bar tending shift. We used to have a different recipe, but I changed it up.
2.5 oz Rye Whiskey
.5 oz Cane Syrup (Simple Syrup)
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
1 orange peel
Mix the whiskey, cane syrup, and bitters into a stir glass. Then pour into a rocks glass. Next peel your orange (making sure there is no fruit on the peel), twist it to release the oils and then ignite it, rim the glass with the peel, and then put it into the glass.
