I created this cocktail for use at Blackberry Farm, a Relais & Chateaux resort located in Walland, TN. A whiskey sour... basically. This was the passed cocktail for the second night of the Taste of the South 2013 event at Blackberry Farm.
1.5 oz. Belle Meade Bourbon Whiskey
1 whole lemon freshly juiced
.5 oz Fee Bros Flarenum
1 dash of Fee Bros. Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters
Splash of soda water
Pinot Noir glaze
In a mixing tin with ice add everything except soda water and Pinot Noir. Shake till cold and pour into a mason jar. Splash soda water and stir to mix. Then glaze the top of the cocktail with Pinot Noir (I used Melville). Garnish with a lemon wheel.
