About this Cocktail
Made by me at The Blue Pig Manchester, for Jameson's competition.
Punnet of strawberries.
50ml Jameson's Whisky.
50ml Condensed Milk.
Bunch of Thyme!
10 ml overproof rum.
Peel and chop the strawberries and lychees into a pan, add condensed milk and reduce down.
When cooled, blitz in a food processor/blender.
Chill a rocks glass.
Add 50ml of reduction, and 50 ml Jameson's and 2 sprigs of thyme to Boston Glass, add ice and shake like crazy!
In a separate tin add your thyme and 5ml of over proof rum, I used Wray and Nephews. Light it up to smoke the thyme, then cover a pre-chilled rocks glass with tin!
Double strain over fresh ice and garnish with burnt thyme!
