About this Cocktail

I was playing with some new products and getting familiar. Tried a Pegu Club with the Tub 111 gin. Liked it better with Combier Pamplemousse.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 Tub 111 gin
  • .75 fresh lime
  • .75 Combier Pamplemousse
  • Dash of orange bitters
  • Dash of Angostura
Preparation:

Add ingredients to shaker, add ice, shake, fine strain into chilled glass. Garnish with grapefruit peel.

    How does the sweetness of the Combier Pamplemousse compare to, say, Cointreau or to Pierre Ferrand's Curacao?

    It's not as sweet as Cointreau. Somewhere in the middle. I actually tried it with PF Dry curaçao and didn't love it.
