A long, cool drink for what is sure to be a long, hot summer.
1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Pimm's no. 1
.5 oz Sherry
.5 oz. Gomme Syrup
3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 dash Orange Bitters
.25 oz. Lime Juice
1 slice Seedless European Cucumber
1 3" slice Pineapple
3 Orange Peels (cut on a vegetable peeler)
Add the cucumber, pineapple, orange peels, and gin to a shaker tin and lightly muddle. Add the remaining ingredients with cracked ice to the tin and shake like hell. Strain into a hi-ball glass filled with cracked or crushed ice and garnish creatively with a large plume of mint, a curl of cucumber, an orange peel, or edible flowers. Serve with a straw.
