About this Cocktail
Japanese Cocktail with Neisson (or your preferred) Rhum Agricole Vieux instead of Cognac.
Absolutely delicious and easy to make. Spicy and tastier than the Japanese version, if you ask me.
2.5oz Rhum Agricole Vieux
.5oz Orgeat (I used Monin, I didnt make my own. I dont change my own oil either -- don't judge me).
1-3 dashes aromatic bitters (angostura, fees old fashioned, and dead rabbit orinoco worked equally well).
Put all ingredients into an ice filled mixing glass.
Stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe.
Twist a thin lemon peel and drop it in.
(I increased the rhum to 2.5oz to make this less sweet. The 2.5 to .5 tastes best to me, but the monin orgeat is pretty sweet).
