About this Cocktail
A funky variation on the classic champagne cocktail - inspired by Prince. May he rest in peace.
1 sugar cube
1/4 oz Creme de Violette
Peychaud's Aromatic Cocktail Bitters
6-7 oz Champagne or Brut sparkling wine
Place sugar cube in glass (I use a coupe but a flute would work as well)
Drip bitters onto the cube until it turns entirely red (about 20 drops)
Add Creme de Violette and top with Champagne
