A refreshing swizzle

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Zaccapa 23 or, if you dare, Smith & Cross
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 3/4 oz Demerara simple
  • 2 dashes Angostura
  • 2 dashes Peychauda
  • Mint
Preparation:

Muddle the mint and simple in a highball
Fill 2/3 with crushed ice
Pour in rum and lime and swizzle
Add bitters on top
Fill glass remaining with crushed ice
Garnish with mint
