About this Cocktail
This subtle twist on the Negroni dates back to Harry MacElhone’s 1919 book, “Harry’s ABC of Mixing Cocktails”. Chicago's own Letherbee Gin — with it’s pronounced anise flavor — is great in the Quill.
1 oz Letherbee Gin
1 oz Campari
1 oz Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes North Shore SirÃ¨ne Absinthe
Stir. Strain. Serve on a big rock. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
