Raspberry Nuclear Daiquiri

About this Cocktail

A very small twist on the Gregor de Gruyther classic switching out the falernum for some leftover homemade raspberry syrup I had from yesterday's making of the Red Thorn Cocktail (not mine - google it on liquor.com - it's awesome). The raspberry syrup was made by boiling 60g of raspberries (apologies to any American readers for my use of metric which is what the rest of us use!) in 60ml of water for a few minutes. Strain without squeezing and dissolve in 30g of sugar.

Ingredients:
  • 1 shot over proof rum (I used wray and nephew)
  • 3/4 shot green chartreuse
  • 1 shot lime juice
  • 1/4 shot raspberry syrup
  • 1/2 shot water (unless you have wet ice)
Preparation:

Shake and strain
