Rainy day.. Needed some sunshine in my life. And watching Behind The Bar.. Got inspired.. And thirsty. 😏 pulled what I could from my kitchen. Now I'm on my second.
.5 honey syrup
.25 ginger juice
.25 fresh squeeze orange
1.0 ginger ale
Honey syrup: half honey half water
Ginger juice: boil ginger root with 2 cups of water.
Pour all ingredients into shaker. I like to slice off the garnish peel and just use the Orange exposed from the garnish right into shaker. Add ice and vigorously shake. Strain over fresh ice. Top w ginger ale. Wipe orange oils on rim and drop garnish in. cheers!
