Whiskey and beer, with a little more body
(Credit to Garden & Gun for original cocktail)
1.5 oz bourbon
2 oz "hoppy" IPA
1/2 lager syrup*
1 tsp simple syrup
1 whole egg
Put all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake for several minutes until the egg is incorporated in the mixture, and has become nice and frothy. Strain into a tall glass with no ice. To garnish add bourbon in half an eggshell and a bourbon soaked cherry. See picture.
2 12 oz lager beers
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown dust
In a deep sauce pan over medium-high heat, add the beer and reduce by half, taking care not to let it bubble of her. Stir in the sugar and mix until it dissolves. Allow to cool.
