Just arrived at the Carousel bar. No drink specials right now, so I ordered the drink by which I measure all professional New Orleans bartenders: the Sazerac.
What's the verdict? Well, not the best I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. Certainly better than the one I was served on the rocks that one time. So what could have been better? A little less simple syrup, and I like the citrus to be visible, not sunken at the bottom. To each his own. Cheers!
