About this Cocktail

Blend of various recipes.

Ingredients:
  • Absinthe (spray or rinse)
  • 1 oz inexpensive Cognac
  • 1 oz Bulleit Rye
  • Peychaud's Bitters
  • Calamansi Bitters
  • Lemon Twist
  • Demerarra sugar cube
Preparation:

Spray or rinse double old fashioned glass with absinthe. If rinsing, tip excess into a shot glass and serve with ice cold water.

Drop King ice cube into glass.

Muddle 1 or 2 cubes of sugar with Cognac and Rye. Strain and pour mixture over ice cubes into glass.

Stir cocktail in glass.

Rub pith side of lemon twist around rim of glass and drop into cocktail.

Serve.
