Original variation of a Rye Mule, for Trattoria Piatto, Carlisle PA
.75 oz Fresh lime juice
.5 oz House made ginger simple-syrup
1 oz Old Overholt Rye
Birra Moretti La Rossa (Bock-style beer)
Add lime, rye, and syrup to shaker with ice. Gently shake, strain into highball glass over fresh ice. Top with bock beer. Gently stir. Garnish with chunk of lime.
