New drink inspired by ideas from the latest issue of Imbibe

Ingredients:
  • 2oz Rye Whiskey
  • .75oz Leopold Bros. Peach Liqueur
  • .5oz Allspice Dram
  • .5oz Ginger Syrup
  • 2 Apricots
Preparation:

Split open the apricots, remove the pits and break up into quarters. Muddle the apricots and all the other ingredients in a shaker tin until the apricots are pretty well mushed. Add ice and shake until well chilled. Double strain into a lowball glass with a large single ice cube. Garnish with a thick piece of lemon peel (after expressing the oils first).

    A little too "wintery". I would replace the Allspice Dram with a different spicy liqueur. A work in progress...
