Summer is near, day time drinking here we come! This is a very dangerous little feller, perfect for outdoor parties and events in the sun. Inspired by the insane drinking culture in Hong Kong, there's never a bad time to be caught having a drink in your hand in this city, whether your on a boat, balcony, rooftop or pop-up party, make sure you're sipping on one of these bad boys and keep it classy.
2 oz Sipsmith Gin
0.75 oz Earl Grey Tea
0.75 oz Home made Honey Syrup
0.25 G.E. Messenez Creme de Mure
0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
I made this without shaking the fresh berries but it can be done, it will help accentuate the berry liquer. Combine all ingredients and shake, strain into champagne flute and top up with prosecco. Drop a fresh berry in the glass as garnish/ post quaffing snack ;)
Creme de Mure is not a necessity, you can replace it with other berry based liquer, they all bond with and support the gin and prosecco very nicely. I do strongly advise using G.E. Messenez though, very rich in flavour and gives the beverage more body.
