A boulevardier variation where every ingredient does what it does best: the sharpness of the rye, the funkiness of the Overproof rum, the citrusy bitterness of the Campari, the complex sweetness of the vermouth and the herbal spice of the Benedictine. A true talent show.
3/4 oz Old Overholt Rye
1/4 oz Smith & Cross Jamaican Rum
1 oz Campari
3/4 oz Cinzanno sweet vermouth
1/4 oz Benedictine
Add all ingredients to mixing glass, add ice and stir. Strain into chilled old fashioned glass. Garnish with orange peel and serve.
