Tequila Honey

About this Cocktail

Inspired by a Magnus Nillson bourbon cocktail.

Ingredients:
  • Reposado Tequila (3oz)
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Raw Honey (I use Woodbine Honey Co's wildflower honey)
  • St. George Absinthe Verte
  • White Wine Vinegar
  • Kosher Salt
  • Wildflower
Preparation:

Slowly and patiently stir the honey into the tequila in mixing glass. Put 3 drops of absinthe and 3 drops of vinegar into a highball and roll them around the sides of the glass. Pinch salt in glass and add a large ice cube. Pour the tequila over the ice. Drop a wildflower on top of the ice. Serve!

Had a few friends over and made this joy. One of them said "wait, what's that white wine vinegar for?" He dug it.

Nice! It totally threw me off the first time I considered it, but it's pretty great imho!
