This cocktail was created by San Francisco's Todd Smith where it is a regular on the menu at The Hideout, a bar within a bar at Dalva in the mission. Willett Rye with both walnut and sapling maple liqueurs…what's not to like?
2 oz Willett Family Estate Rye
.5 oz Nux alpina (Walnut Liqueur)
.5 oz Sapling Maple Liqueur
2 Dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Combine ingredients in mixing glass. Add Ice and stir well. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Orange twist.
