About this Cocktail

A Sazerac by way of the Border Trilogy, named for a south of the border by way of the Old South gentleman of my acquaintance. Rafa García Febles, NYC, 2013.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 teaspoon Pedro Ximénez Sherry
  • 1 teaspoon Coffee liqueur
  • 1 dash each Angostura and cinnamon bitters
  • 1 rinse Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1 lemon twist
Preparation:

Stir, strain into a yellow Chartreuse-rinsed old fashioned glass over one big rock, twist.
