About this Cocktail

Spiced rum, with its notes of cloves, allspice, and vanilla, is complemented by the comforting fall flavors of spicy cinnamon, sweet, rich maple syrup, and warming apple cider in this cocktail inspired by autumn in Toronto. From Saveur:

  • 2 oz. spiced rum
  • ½ oz. maple syrup
  • ¼ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ oz. apple cider
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

In a shaker, add all the ingredients along with ½ cup of ice, shake vigorously to dissolve cinnamon, and pour mixture along with ice into an old-fashioned glass to serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
