About this Cocktail

A drink I created at Stacks on Magazine to show rum can be more than Tiki.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Papa's Pilar Blonde
  • .75 oz Barrow's Intense Ginger
  • 1 bar spoon brown sugar
  • 8 heavy dashes angostura bitters
  • 1.5 oz lemon juice
  • .5 oz montemarte brut
  • 3 drops orange flower water
  • Flamed lemon peel
Preparation:

In a mixing tin add the rum, bitters, lemon, ginger liqueur, and brown sugar. Fill with ice and shake. strain into a chilled 8.5 oz coupe, and too with champagne. Add the orange flower water and flame a lemon peel over the drink, twist and drop.
