About this Cocktail

I was challenged to make a version of a Mai Tai. This is it. It's named after Fernandina Beach, FL mainly because I had a Mai Tai there one time. Too much cilantro can make it a bit soapy, but you can say that about anything that calls for cilantro. Well rounded drink with enough spice and citrus to be exciting. Enjoy when it gets a bit warmer.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Light Rum
  • 1 oz. Ginger Shrub
  • 1 oz. Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Vanilla Syrup
  • 1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1-2 Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Preparation:

Add all ingredients (rip cilantro), shake vigorously, fine strain, rocks, Garnish: Lime Wheel.
