The Jonny Jebsen Cocktail
Saved by 3 People
About this Cocktail

An invention made in tribute to an unsung hero of WWII, Johann 'Jonny' Jebsen. Jebsen was a senior operative in the Nazi secret service, operating out of neutral Lisbon and running agents in the UK. However he was also a British double agent known as Agent Artist and was part of the team that convinced the Nazi high command that D-Day was to be focused on Calais rather than Normandy. Shortly before D-Day he was taken by the Gestapo. He knew the real plans for D-Day and had he cracked under presumably horrific interrogation the course of the war may have been significantly altered, or at least there would have been many more casualties. He didn't survive his incarceration. A Votre Santé.
