This cocktail imagines what might have been had Phil Ward worked in a biochemistry laboratory instead of the Pegu Club years ago...
22.18ml 40% ethyl alcohol (diluted from 70% stock; non-denatured)
22.18 filtered green Chartreuse
22.18 maraschino supernatant (after 10,000rpm centrifugation for 5min)
22.18 fresh lime juice (from genetically-modified super-limes)
***WARNING: ONLY PREPARE WHILE WEARING A CERTIFIED LAB COAT AND SAFETY GOGGLES***Using a 25ml graduated cylinder and micropipette, combine ingredients in an Erlenmeyer flask with 2 large ice cubes. Stir 30 seconds using a magnetic stir plate set to medium speed. Strain into a day-old-coffee-rinsed 150ml beaker. Garnish with a lemon wheel on a pipette tip (due to their colossal size, GMO-super-limes are too large for a wheel from this fruit to fit in the drink....)
