Adaptation of The Haight. A smokey manhattan served at Chez Papa Resto in San Francisco.
1.25 oz Michter's rye
1.25 oz Carpano Antica
0.25 oz sour cherry syrup
Lapsang Souchong tea smoke
Shake the wet ingredients over ice and strain into sealable glasses containing a Luxardo maraschino cherry. Use a vaporizer to fill the glass with the tea smoke. Seal, shake vigorously, and serve sealed.
