The Perfect Martini was not named because it is the best, but because of the "perfect" 1:1 proportion of sweet to dry vermouth, where a standard martini calls for just dry. This is pretty much what Fee Bros. Gin-Barrel-Aged Orange Bitters was made for in my opinion. As featured on www.bitterchris.com
1.5 oz gin
1/4 oz sweet vermouth (i use cocchi di torino)
1/4 oz dry vermouth (i use cocchi americano)
2 dashes orange bitters (see above)
garnish with lemon peel
Add the above ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with large ice cubes, stir until chilled and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
