About this Cocktail

The Perfect Martini was not named because it is the best, but because of the "perfect" 1:1 proportion of sweet to dry vermouth, where a standard martini calls for just dry. This is pretty much what Fee Bros. Gin-Barrel-Aged Orange Bitters was made for in my opinion. As featured on

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 1/4 oz sweet vermouth (i use cocchi di torino)
  • 1/4 oz dry vermouth (i use cocchi americano)
  • 2 dashes orange bitters (see above)
  • garnish with lemon peel

Add the above ingredients to a mixing glass, fill with large ice cubes, stir until chilled and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

I'm still learning a lot of basics so Im trying a lot of basic recipes and won't 'Like' one until tested. This came out great, even with Martini brand vermouths. Cheers!
