When your handle is @thepicklefreak and it's your birthday there isn't any such thing as "too briny". Showing the love for the person who makes Launch Pad run, the the team at Capdeville created a specialty cocktail using their house-made pickles and some of the brine. It's definitely geared for those who seek out "a jarring experience".
2 oz Hendricks Gin
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz half-sour pickle brine
1 slice Cucumber - pickled
1 clove Garlic - pickled
1 slice Onion - pickled
a tiny pinch of JalapeÃ±o - pickled
Splash of soda water
Spicy pickled green beans for garnish
Muddle the cucumber, garlic, onion, and jalapeño together in a cocktail shaker. Add the gin, lemon juice along with crushed ice and stir until chilled. Add a splash of soda water and pour (unstrained) into a pint glass. Top off with ice and garnish with at least 3 spicy pickled beans and a single slice of half-sour pickle.
