About this Cocktail

In honor of the Super Bowl in NYC.

  • 2.5 oz Bacon-fat infused Bourbon*
  • ½ oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 Dashes Angostura bitters
  • Candied Bacon for garnish

Combine all ingredients, except Candied Bacon, in a mixing glass, add ice and stir. Strain into a chilled Cocktail glass and garnish with Candied Bacon.

*To make the bourbon:
1.5 oz. Extra Fatty Bacon
750 Ml Bourbon

On low heat cook the Bacon in a small pan until all the fat melts, about 5 minutes. You will be left with liquid fat and crispy bacon solids in the pan. Combine all the contents from the pan with the bourbon in a large glass container and stir. Infuse for four hours, and then freeze for 2 hours.

Remove all Solids and strain through cheesecloth.
