About this Cocktail
Spin off my Reverend George cocktail.

I went back to my previous version with grapefruit and celery bitters. I increased the celery bitters ratio to 3 to 1. And now it's lovely.

I was thinking that maybe the Celery and grapefruit bitters are trying to do the same thing a bit too much. I tried a variation with celery bitters and Dr Elmegirab's boker's bitters.
- 50 ml black grouse
- 3 dashes Celery bitters ( to brighten the cocktail )
- 2 dashes Boker's bitters ( to give it a more classic backbone )
- pinch of smoke sea salt
- 1 brown sugar cube.

Sadly it can't be a sea Sheperd anymore. Sea shepherds have salty dogs :)
Tomorrow I'll try the reversed version ( grapefruit + Boker's )
50 ml Black Grouse Whisky
3 dashes Fee Brothers Celery Bitters
1 dashes Bittermens Hopped Grapefruit Bitters
1 pinch of smoked sea salt
1 brown sugar cube
1 toasted Nori Strip
Muddle sugar, salt and bitters with a splash of water. Add a large ice cube. Pour in the whisky, stir lightly and garnish with the Nori strip, immersed in the drink.
The smoked sea salt gives a hearty substance to the smoky hootch.
