About this Cocktail

This is an original by my fellow barkeep at the Alembic, Mike Fleury, combining a bunch of my favorite ingredients. Come see us on Monday nights at Haight and Cole.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz averna
  • 4 dashes angostura
  • Egg white
  • 7-8 mint leaves
Preparation:

Build in shaker and dry shake vigorously, then add about 4 cubes and shake again until chilled. Double strain into a coupe. Garnish with a mint leaf.
